Letter to Members Re: Proxies for Extraordinary General Meeting

Dear Member,

Just to remind you of the SSCVA EGM called for next Wednesday 27th September.

Extraordinary General Meeting

We hope you will be able to attend to hear more from SSCVA Trustees, and Garry Jones, the Chief Executive of Support Staffordshire, will also be in attendance to outline Support Staffordshire’s work and answer any questions you may have.

If you cannot attend the meeting but wish for somebody else to vote on your behalf, please click here to download the proxy form.

A proxy does not need to be a member of SSCVA but must attend the Meeting to represent you. You may appoint the Chairman of the Meeting or another person as your proxy.

If you do not give your proxy an indication of how to vote on any resolution, your proxy will vote or abstain from voting at his or her discretion. Your proxy will vote (or abstain from voting) as he or she thinks fit in relation to any other matter which is put before the Meeting.

The form must be completed and signed and returned to David Leese (david.leese@sscva.org.uk) at SSCVA, c/o South Staffordshire Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall WV8 1PX no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the Meeting.

Appointment of a proxy does not preclude you from attending the Meeting and voting in person. If you have appointed a proxy and attend the Meeting in person, your proxy appointment will automatically be terminated.

If you have any general queries about the Meeting please contact myself at SSCVA.

Yours sincerely,

David Leese
Chief Officer
