Coinciding with Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, South Staffordshire Council’s Warmer Homes campaign will be holding a Let’s Work Together training event on Friday 17th February 2017 at the Council Offices, Codsall.
The event is being held to raise awareness of the Council’s South Staffordshire Warmer Homes work, supporting the 9.2% of households in the district currently suffering the effects of fuel poverty, unable to live in a warm, dry home. The training will consist of; Tackling the Cold presented by National Energy Action, Warm Homes funding available through South Staffordshire Warmer Homes campaign, for those most vulnerable, and the Goodlife Energy project set up to help householders and local businesses switch energy suppliers.
Registration & refreshments commences from 9:00am, with the training scheduled to start at 9:15am and due to end at 13:15pm, followed by a light lunch.
Let’s work together is a series of training modules open to everyone in South Staffordshire.
